What Is Ohm's Law?

Ohm's Law defines the fundamental electrical relationship between electric potential (Voltage, V), electric current (Current, I), and opposition to current flow (Resistance, R) in a DC linear circuit. Named after German physicist Georg Ohm, it states that current through a conductor is directly proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance.
