We use local browser storage (localStorage) exclusively for functional preferences: saving your preferred language, active theme, calculation history, and favourite tools. This data stays strictly on your device and is never transmitted to remote servers.

2. External Fonts & CDNs

To provide clean typography, THE CALC fetches font styles (Space Grotesk, Inter, JetBrains Mono) via Google Fonts CDNs. These services may log standard HTTP request metadata (such as IP address) to serve font assets efficiently.

3. Analytics & Advertising Cookies

Future versions may integrate privacy-compliant analytics or advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) to keep the platform free. You can manage or disable non-essential cookies at any time via Privacy Preferences.

4. User Privacy Rights

You have full control over your local browser data. You can clear your calculation history or saved favourites at any time using the in-app history controls or by clearing your browser site data.
